• I think I've just been karma'd all over – write about failed HDD, repair HDD on iMac, now my MBP seems to have faulty HDD! (Backups OK!) #
• The good: Backups are 100% OK; the bad: dealing with 150GB .dmg files is s-l-o-w – diag process dragging… #
• Looks like it might not be a faulty HDD after all, unfortunately that means failed OS and a re-install #
• Excellent! Install OS 'over the top' has seen all problems just go away – back up and running… #
